Introduction

Lithium battery is a kind of battery with lithium metal or lithium alloy as positive / negative material and non-aqueous electrolyte solution. Lithium metal battery was first proposed and studied by Gilbert n. Lewis in 1912. In the 1970s, M. S. Whittingham proposed and began to study lithium-ion batteries. Because the chemical properties of lithium metal are very active, the processing, preservation and use of lithium metal have very high requirements for the environment. With the development of science and technology, lithium battery has become the mainstream.​

Precautions for Storage

The batteries should be stored (more than 1 month) in a clear, dry and ventilated room under ambient temperature of -20℃~25℃, and it should be kept away from caustic material, fire source and heat source. Do not invert battery during storage; and avoid mechanical shock and stress.

If the batteries kept for a long time, it should be charged and discharged at the standard model every six months.Store the battery in the state of 10%~30% SOC (voltage scope: 3.215V~3.305V).
